Home Educated Program

Home Educated Program

At The Drama Hub, we endeavour to create a safe and an inclusive environment for all children, hence why we have created a program that caters to children that are home educated. This allows students to include part of their curriculum into their learning during their school day and engage with like-minded individuals in a creative way.

The program runs for two-hours (Year 3 upwards) and boasts a unique and engaging syllabus that allows students to develop their communication and team building skills while evolving their acting and role-playing techniques. It builds fundamental personal confidence and public speaking abilities, while navigating through any personal obstacles such as anxiety and shyness in a social setting.

What to expect

Students can expect to enjoy developing a focused skill each term, and showcasing it to a live audience for the last class. Each term is divided into two parts. The first half of the term, students gain an understanding of that focused skill through practical activities. The second half of the term involves students preparing and rehearsing a performance for showcase.

Students should wear comfortable clothing and have a water bottle on hand.

Parents are not required to stay for the duration of the class, however if your child is uncomfortable with this, feel free to stay.
